Barry Delaney and Kevin Lewis are residents of Staten Island,N.y.They own a house in West Brighton and we charged for animal cruelty on October 6,2005.In their house they had nine dogs and 5 cats. All animals had ribs showing and were infested with fleas. People shouldn't be aloud to own any animals if they cant afford vet bills or animcal food. Animal cruelty happens everyday and isn't taken as seriously as it should be. Animals are living organsisms that dont deserve to be underfed. There should be a stronger law for being able to own a pet. People need to have a good income coming into their homes.

I read an article at http://www.nytimes.com/2009/10/06/opinion/06tue2.html about animal cruelty. It tells how some people enjoy animal cruelty and how they are being punished.
